And if you’re going to make a black and white gif you can practically double the number of frames! It heavily depends also on the colours of the clip, the more colours it has, the lesser the number of frames you’re going to have. Usually, if I’m making a gif that’s about 245 x 245 px, I try to keep the number of frames around 30-40. The smaller the size is, the bigger the clip length can be. We’re going to consider two things: the length of the clip you want to gif and the dimensions of the final gif.
